Position Overview
The 245D Program Manager will oversee compliance with Minnesota 245D regulations, supervise Qualified Professionals and support staff, ensure documentation accuracy, and drive quality service delivery across programs.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who understands DHS licensing requirements, can effectively coach and develop staff, and is passionate about continuous improvement and person-centered services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to program staff and Qualified Professionals.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with Minnesota 245D requirements and organizational policies.
- Review documentation, support plans, incident reports, and corrective action plans.
- Monitor quality assurance initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Partner with case managers, guardians, families, and community stakeholders to support positive outcomes.
- Assist with audits, licensing reviews, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Train, mentor, and develop staff while promoting accountability and professional growth.
- Support program operations including scheduling, staffing, and workflow management.
- Investigate concerns, resolve issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of required documentation.
Qualifications
To be considered, candidates should possess:
- Experience working within Minnesota's 245D service environment.
- Experience as a Designated Coordinator, Designated Manager, Program Manager, Program Director, or similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of DHS regulations, licensing requirements, and compliance standards.
- Experience supervising, training, and coaching employees.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Education, Healthcare, or a related field.
- Experience managing 245D support plans and compliance documentation.
- Background in quality assurance, auditing, or program compliance.
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities, vulnerable adults, or related populations.
